Cambodia to host 7th APA Plenary Session in 2015

Cambodia will host the 7th Plenary Session of Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in late 2015, said Chairman of the Cambodian National Assembly (NA) Commission for Human Rights Protection, Litigation, Inspection and NA-Senate Relations Nhem Thavy.

Cambodian news agency AKP quoted Nhem Thavy as saying on December 12 that the decision was made at the 6th APA Plenary Session held in Pakistan recently and it reflects the full peace and stability in Cambodia as well as the country’s good economic and political cooperation in the region.

The 6th APA Plenary Session was held from December 8 to 11 in Islamabad under the theme of "Asian Century: Cooperation in Economy, Energy and Environment".-VNA
