Local media cited a press release by the Khmer Writers’ Association as saying that the annual event will take place in March 2013 in the province of Siem Reap, some 315 kilometres northwest of Phnom Penh.
On this occasion, the Mekong River Literature Prize will be awarded to outstanding writers and poets.
Five best Cambodian writers who win a poetry and short story competition launched by the Khmer Writers’ Association under the theme “Sustainability of the Mekong River and Lives” will represent the country for the Mekong River Literature Prize.-VNA
