An exhibition featuring Cambodian arts was opened in Hanoi on December 24.

As part of the Cambodian Cultural Week, the exhibition is jointly held by Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.

The event, the second of its kind, showcased 32 traditional paintings in various types, ranging from lacquer and sculpture to weaving works, which draws inspiration from Cambodia’s legends, epics and folk songs.

The exhibition aims at raising Vietnamese’s understanding of Cambodia, a country with thousand-year rich cultural assets, including temples, churches, traditional music arts and sculpture works./.
