Cambodia's exports to Canada over the past ten years have seen a remarkable increase, from 21 million USD in 2002 to 598 million USD in 2012, Canadian Ambassador to Cambodia Philip Calvert has said.

AKP News Agency on November 14 quoted Ambassador Philip Calvert as saying at a meeting with Cambodian Minister of Economy and Finance Aun Porn Moniroth that Canada is the third biggest market for Cambodian products.

The Canadian diplomat also lauded the development in Cambodia and affirmed that Canada will continue to boost its cooperation both in technical and financial fields with the Southeast Asian Nation.

For his part, Aun Porn Moniroth expressed profound thanks to the Government and people of Canada for its active contribution to the socio-economic development in Cambodia.

Since 1992, Canada has provided some 126 million USD in grant aid to Cambodia, added the minister.-VNA
