Cambodia's trade with Thailand increases by 11 percent

Bilateral trade between Cambodia and neighbouring Thailand increased by 11 percent during the first six months of this year, according to local media.

Figures from the Thai Embassy in Cambodia showed that during the January-June period, two-way trade stood at 2.31 billion USD, up 11 percent from 2.08 billion USD a year earlier.

Cambodia's exports to Thailand were equivalent to 162 million USD, up 21 percent, while Thailand’s exports to Cambodia reached 2.15 billion USD, up 10 percent.

Thailand is Cambodia's largest trading partner. Last year, two-way trade amounted to 3.8 billion USD, an increase of 40 percent year-on-year.-VNA
