Can Tho hosts 6th Congress of Vietnamese Catholics

Catholics (CSVC) held the 6th Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for
National Construction and Defence, bringing together 230 local
outstanding dignitaries.

National Construction and Defence, bringing together 230 local
outstanding dignitaries.
The congress elected an executive committee of the CSVC’s Can Tho chapter for the 2014-2019 tenure with 90 members. Priest Phan Dinh Son was re-elected as Chairman of the committee.
The congress drew orientations and tasks for the committee in the 2014-2019 tenure, calling on Vietnamese Catholic follower to further contribute to the goal of wealthy people, a strong, democratic, equal and civilised country, as well as efforts to build and protect peace, independence and national sovereignty./.
