Can Tho takes care of Agent Orange victims
The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin of the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho has carried out many significant measures to support victims of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin.

In the 2011-2015 period, the association implemented the “Actions for Victims of Agent Orange” programme and mobilised nearly 26 billion VND (1.14 million USD) for the victims.
It presented gifts worth 10 billion VND and 350 wheelchairs to local AO victims while building and repairing 280 houses for them at a total cost of 5 billion VND.
According to Tran Lien Kieu, Chairwoman of the association, Can tho is now home to nearly 4,400 AO/dioxin victims, with 2,900 of them receiving allowances and social insurance.-VNA
