Chess players triumph at Asian junior event
Vietnamese female chess players took
home two gold medals and one bronze while their male fellow won a
silver at the Asian Youth Chess Championships 2009 held recently in
India.

The two gold winners are Hoang Thi Nhu Y and Pham Thanh Phuong Thao who gained the titles for girls under 16 and 10, respectively, at the event held for players under 18.
In addition, Dao Thi Lan Anh bagged a bronze for girls under 12 while Nguyen Van Hai won a silver for boys under 16./.
