A Chinese national was caught red-handed carrying over 975 grams of
heroin in Ka Long ward, Mong Cai city, the northern border province
of Quang Ninh on November 18.

Chen Sheng Ji, born in 1959 in Dongxing, confessed that he was hired to transport the drug from China to Vietnam and deliver it to a man named Thang in Ha Long city.
At present, the Mong Cai International Border Gate’s Border Guard is investigating into the case.
Since September 2014, the gate border guard has arrested six drug traffickers and seized 16kg of drugs in total.-VNA
