Investigating the suspect, local police on June 18 detected him carrying 14 counterfeit ATM cards and 6.5 million VND (305 USD) illegally withdrawn from ATMs, along with ATM card making equipment.
This is the first case of its kind detected in Hanoi, said Major Ngo Minh Quang from the Hanoi Police’s High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty (PC50).
He added the force is collaborating with other relevant teams to investigate further and pursue Feng’s accomplices.-VNA
