A delegation of the Communist Review, headed by Editor-in-Chief Vu Van Phuc, concluded a week-long visit to India on Sept. 12.

During the visit, the delegation had working sessions with the Indian Council for Cultural Affairs, the Foreign Ministry, the Culture Ministry and some press agencies.

The Indian hosts expressed their fine sentiments about the Vietnamese people and land, especially President Ho Chi Minh.

They reviewed cooperation activities with Vietnamese agencies in recent years. Noteworthy were works to speed up the signing of cultural exchange prgrammes from 2011-2013, sending experts to help Vietnam to preserve My Son heritage in Quang Nam province and cooperation with the National Library of Vietnam.

The Indian Council for Cultural Affairs said that it is actively coordinating with Vietnam to set up an Indian Culture Centre in Vietnam and a Vietnamese Culture Centre in India , to contribute to exchanging and promoting the traditional culture of each country.

The Vietnamese delegation shared experience with Indian press agencies in organising, advertising and publishing in the current period of international integration and information boom./.
