A ceremony was held on February 15 to start the construction of a flyover at the intersection between National Highway 46 and the North-South railway in the central province of Nghe An.

Built with a total cost of 450 billion VND (21.4 million USD) under the build-operate-transfer form, the project is expected to be open for traffic in April next year.

Once completed, the project, one of 80 flyovers on the North-South railway, will help ease traffic congestion and minimise accidents at the intersection.
