Cuban leader extends sympathy to Vietnam over flooding
Cuban leader Raul Castro Ruz has conveyed his sympathies to Vietnamese leaders over the great losses of lives and property caused by recent rain-triggered floods in Quang Ninh province.

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Council of State and President of the Council of Ministers Raul Castro Ruz has conveyed his sympathies to Vietnamese leaders over the great losses of lives and property caused by recent rain-triggered floods in Quang Ninh province.
The message of condolences was extended to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong , State President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on August 4.
Northern Quang Ninh province endured the heaviest prolonged rainfall in 40 years, leaving 17 people dead.-VNA
