Da Nang to sparkle with fireworks displays

colour of Da Nang” will take place on April 29-30 with the participation
of five teams.

The teams are Canada, China, France, Italy, which all won the championship in the previous contests from 2008 to 2011, and host country Vietnam, the Da Nang People’s Committee announced on Feb. 16.
Within the framework of the event, there will be a wide range of activities such as cuisine exchange, decorative lighting, a boat procession, sporting activities, music and fashion shows.
This year, the central city plans to build three grandstands with more than 25,000 seats.
About 16,000 tickets will be sold in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang with prices ranging between 200,000 VND and 300,000 VND.
The city has also paid much attention to encouraging donors and upgrading infrastructure, equipment and technology for the event.
Up to Feb. 15, 24 businesses have registered to sponsor the contest, with a total of over 27.5 billion VND so far./.
