Hanoi (VNA) – Defence Minister Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich paid a floral tribute at the Thai embassy in Hanoi on October 18, expressing his sympathy with the recent passing of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

In the funeral book, Lich wrote that the Vietnamese people in general and the Vietnam People’s Army in particular always treasure the warm feelings that the King gave to the Vietnamese people, as well as his valuable dedication to bilateral friendship and strategic partnership, including the defence ties.

He expressed his belief that the Thai Royal, government, people and army will overcome the great loss soon and continue making the country more prosperous.
