Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh on June 28 hosted a reception for a high-level delegation from the Republic of Korean Maritime Police High Command.
Defence cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK has seen new developments over the past time, Minister Thanh told the visiting guests, who are led by Senior Colonel Choi Sang Hwan, head of the Equipment and Technology Division under the abovementioned high command.
Minister Thanh praised the relations between Vietnam’s Maritime Police and its RoK counterparts, which focus on training and experience sharing. Senior Colonel Choi Sang Hwan said he hopes cooperation between the two countries’ armies and the two maritime police forces in particular will be further strengthened.-VNA
