The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is open to the possibility of holding a new reunion this spring for Korean families separated by war.

According to the Republic of Korea ’s Choson Sinbo Press on February 7, Choi Song-ik, vice chairman of the central committee of the Red Cross of the DPRK told the press last weekend that the DPRK was willing to start a reunion of the families and relatives beginning this spring.
 
He said the move is considered part of efforts to stabilise the North-South humanitarian cooperation relation./.
