Numerous international and Vietnamese electronic and experimental music artists will congregate and perform at a music concert during the annual Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival, taking place from April 9 to 11 in Hanoi.

Musician and member of the organising board Minh Tri said famous Vietnamese expat artists will converge at the event, including Chi Thanh, nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, and Chi Thien, a music producer and remixer.

He said that Vanessa Van Anh Vo, a passionate and talented traditional Vietnamese instrumentalist and composer, will also participate in the event.

She was responsible for the 2009 Emmy Award–winning soundtrack for the documentary “Bolinao 52”.

The eighth season of the Festival aspires to bring creative performances and new electronic sounds to the audience.

Initiated by Minh Tri since 2008, the Festival has drawn the participation of the most talented electronic and experimental music artists worldwide.

In addition, numerous programmes are scheduled in the framework of the Festival, comprising a street-art performance by Julian Vogel, a talk on German electronic music and a conference on electronic music products.

The event will take place at Manzi Art Space, Hanoi Creativity City and the Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre.-VNA
