Hanoi (VNA/NNT) - The education fair held since the beginning of April at Thailand’s government floating market ‘Khlong Padung Krung Kasem’ put in circulation over 12 million THB (roughly 341,680 USD).

Deputy Permanent Secretary for Education Chaiyos Imsuwan and Deputy Secretary-General to the Thai Prime Minister’s Office Pranee Sripasert attended the closing ceremony last week.

The event was popular among families with children, students, and small businesses. As many as 72,000 people visited the fair over the past 24 days.

The more than 500 vendors who came to the floating market mostly consisted of schools and organisations associated with the Ministry of Education. They sold a variety of student crafts, school supplies and affordable foods.-VNA
