The K72 team searching and excavating the remains of Vietnamese soldiers in Cambodia has just started their assigned work for the 13th period in the 2013-2014 dry season.

K72, under the Military Command of the southern province of Binh Phuoc, said they excavated the remains of as many as 54 martyrs in the last period.

According to a senior official, unforeseeable weather and the approaching rainy season along with the high pressure of working in the jungle have harmed the health of the team members and their work progress.

During their mission, team members also provided free health check-ups and medicine to residents in Cambodia’s Kratie province, contributing to nurturing the friendship between the two Governments, militaries and peoples.-VNA
