The 2014 edition of the educational competition entitled Explore Canada from A to Z has been launched, with trips to Canada being promised to its winners.

Running until September 30, the competition is open to all Vietnamese high school students who want to explore and experience Canada.

What is new this year is that the competition also invites Vietnamese students who are studying in Canada to participate and work in pairs with the students from Vietnam to prepare their projects.

Organised by the Embassy of Canada in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City, the competition will include two rounds, namely essay writing and movie production.

The contestants will be asked to write essays in English or French on three topics, namely culture, education and career prospects. The contestants who submit the best essays will be chosen to produce an interesting and relevant short movie on the theme of the competition.

Interested students can learn more about the contest and register at www.duhoc-canada.vn/a-z. Last year's competition attracted 700 participants.-VNA
