Hanoi presented prizes to winners of the “Explore Canada From A to Z”
competition 2013.
The competition was part of celebrations marking 40th anniversary of the Vietnam-Canada diplomatic relations.
Running from August last year, the new, fun, and exciting educational competition attracted nearly 700 high-school students who wanted to learn about, explore and experience Canada.
After three exciting rounds - online quiz in Vietnamese, English or French writing and speaking, the organisers presented the winners with various prizes, including a scholarship to study English or French and Canadian culture for two weeks in Canada and mobile phones.
According to the Ambassador, this was an exciting learning opportunity for the students to challenge themselves, to improve their knowledge of the beauty and diversity of Canada as well as their language skills.
Earlier, a similar awarding ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 22 for winners in southern provinces and cities.-VNA
