A series of international exhibitions opened on December 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting many foreign and domestic businesses.

The 11 th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2013) and the third International Exhibition on Cycle, Motorcycle and Spare parts (InterCycle 2013) will both run until December 7.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa said Vietnam Expo 2013 is an important chance for home businesses to seek partnerships with foreign ones, particularly from Asia , and to learn advanced technology from them.

The expo attracted 300 companies, from a number of countries and territories including India , Malaysia , Indonesia , China , Japan and the Republic of Korea , who are majoring in machinery, agricultural produce, food processing, electricity-electronics, information technology, furniture, handicrafts and fashion.

Meanwhile, InterCycle 2013 has reeled in countries and territories such as China , France , and Japan to display bicycles, spare parts and toys by famous brands like Giant, Merida , Weiiel and Martin 107.

The exhibitions are being organised by the Vietnam International Trade Fair and Advertising company (Vinexad) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chinese Cycling Association and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.-VNA
