Famous Singaporean pianist performs in Vietnam
Two concerts described as “Emperor’s Night” will take place in the
Workers Theatre in Hanoi on May 4 and 5, featuring the acclaimed
Singaporean pianist Lim Yan accompanying Vietnam’s National Symphony
Orchestra.

Workers Theatre in Hanoi on May 4 and 5, featuring the acclaimed
Singaporean pianist Lim Yan accompanying Vietnam’s National Symphony
Orchestra.
The pianist will play the famous Emperor piano Concerto No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concerts, conducted by Singaporean conductor Adrian Tan, will also include other well-known classical works such as Beethoven’s “Egmont” Overture and Mozart’s Symphony No. 40.
Lim Yan studied in England and has performed throughout Europe . Singapore ’s National Arts Council presented him with the Young Artists Award in October 2006./.
