Tran Ngoc Lan Khue from Ho Chi Minh City was awarded the Golden Prize after beating off 24 other competitors at the Vietnam Supermodel 2013 final on October 20.

The 1.76m-tall beauty, with body measurements of 83-62-88, is a professional model in the southern city. She managed to go one better after last year winning the Potential Model prize in the same contest, as well as finishing third at the Asian Super Model 2012 contest in Nanning, China.

Khue bagged 200 million VND (nearly 10,000 USD) for her efforts, while the 150-million VND Silver Prizes went to male model Tran Minh Trung, and female models Phan Ha Phuong and Nguyen Minh Tu.

Three Bronze Prizes were given to male model Vo Ngoc Canh and female stunners, To Uyen Khanh Ngoc and Pham Thi Thu Thuy.

Although the Best Body prizes belonged to Nguyen The Anh and Tran Thuy Linh, the Stylishness prizes were awarded to Bui Quang Tuan and Lai Thi Thanh Huong.

During the final at Ho Chi Minh City's Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium, 25 finalists, comprising 15 female and 10 male models, staged fashion collections featuring ao dai (traditional dress) and sportswear.

In addition, they also presented two collections featuring applied fashion and catwalk designs by Vietnamese famous designer Cong Tri.

Before competing at the final, the 25 contestants were required to showcase their modelling skills through dancing, acting and photo shoot challenges.

Several big names of Vietnamese fashion, including designer Cong Tri, supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, fashion creative director Henri Hubert and the UK-based model Jessica Minh Anh, were among the contest's judges.-VNA
