Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spartly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes and any activities conducted in the area by other countries without permission and agreement from Vietnam are wrong and void.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the remarks at a regular press conference in Hanoi on September 10 while being asked about Vietnam’s response to China installing 4G coverage in the Hoang Sa archipelago.

“We have asserted repeatedly that Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes. That other countries conduct activities there without permission and agreement from Vietnam is illegal and completely worthless,” he stated.-VNA
