Foreign drug traffickers arrested at airport
Customs at Tan Son Nhat International Airport detained two
foreign nationals trafficking drugs, seizing 4.68 kilograms of cocaine

Mazon Donna Buenagua, a Filipino woman who flew to Vietnam on a Qatar Airlines flight, was caught on December 31 transporting 1.64 kilograms of cocaine valued at about 200,000 USD.
The cocaine was pressed into thin pieces and hidden in her suitcases.
The same day, in coordination with airport security, customs discovered 3.04 kilograms of drug precursors worth 300,000 USD in the luggage of Nguyen Philip, a 23 year-old Australian national. He was trying to leave for Sydney .
The cases have been handed over to the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Department for further investigation.-VNA
