The France-based organisation Le Coeur De Bambou will provide free vocational training in industrial sewing for 60 extremely disadvantaged children in the northern province of Thai Binh.

A memorandum of understanding on the 196 million VND project was signed in Hanoi on April 28 by Vu Anh Dao, Director of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) and Claude Leonard, President of Le Coeur De Bambou.

Thai Binh province is now home to more than 31,960 extremely disadvantaged children, including disabled, orphan and poor kids.

Le Coeur De Bambou began its operations in Vietnam in 2002. Since 2007 the organisation has annually donated an average of 200 million VND to NFVC to provide IT and embroidery training to children facing difficulties in Ha Nam province and perform eye operations on visually impaired kids in Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh and Lang Son provinces./.
