Fund set up to support Truong Sa residents
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given the nod to the establishment of
a fund for those living on Truong Sa (Spratly) district island and
marine platform DK1 off the central province of Khanh Hoa.

The fund aims to improve spiritual and material life of soldiers, state officials, and local people on Truong Sa and platform DK1, said the PM’ decision signed on April 19.
The PM assigned the Defence Ministry to set up the Steering Board to run the fund, which expects to raise money from individuals, businesses and organisations in and outside the country for its operation./.
