Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on the German fund Batschka to further help education development in Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister made the call while receiving the fund’s President Rudolf Walther in Hanoi on February 10.

He lauded the visit by the German fund’s delegation and praised its charitable activities, including building schools and hospitals in eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

Walther mentioned Batschka’s projects to build storm-resistant schools in Huong Son district in the central province of Ha Tinh and Duy Xuyen district in the central province of Quang Nam. He said he will attend the ground-breaking ceremonies for the two schools during his visit.
