Short filmmakers will have the chance to learn more about the process of filmmaking at the capital's Goethe Institute on Feb. 27.

Shot film screenings will be held alongside a lecture by Heinz Hermanns, director of Interfilm Berlin, one of the most renowned short film festivals worldwide.

From animation to experimental, the director will present the newest and most interesting films shown at recent short film festivals. He will also give an overview of the history and development of the industry.

He is the director and co-founder of the super short film festival Going Underground, which is held in the trains of the Berlin subway, and since 2011 also in the subway of Seoul , the Republic of Korea .

He is additionally the co-founder and curator of the Zebra Poetry Short Film Festival, a bi-annual event presenting short films inspired by poetry since 2002.-VNA
