At least nine people were killed and 30 others injured during a wedding in the northern part of Cambodia on January 25 night after an unidentified man threw a grenade into the party, according to local police.

The incident occurred at 9:30 pm (local time) in Prasat Sambo district of Kampong Thom province, about 170 km north of the capital Phnom Penh, said Gen. Horm Thul, chief of the provincial military police.

It was not terrorism act, he confirmed, adding that the police preliminarily concluded that triangle love motivated the attack.-VNA
