Two-time Formula One champion Mika Hakkinen of Finland will arrive in Vietnam to demonstrate his driving skills with super cars on November 23 night in Ho Chi Minh City.

The highlight of the event is a driving exhibition, entitled Step Inside the Elite Circus, with the participation of local drivers in District 7. Hakkinen will act as judge and select the four best driving. He then will take part in a special performance, driving the super car Mercedes C63 AMG, along with the local winners.

It is the second time Hakkinen has come to Vietnam , the first time being in January.

Hakkinen, 45, debuted in the F1 with Lotus in 1991 after a successful career in karting and various junior formula categories. He has had significant successes during his career, including winning the European Grand Prix in 1997 and 1998. He announced his retirement from F1 racing in 2001. After retiring, Hakkinen drove in the DTM series, in which he won three races with Mercedes before announcing his retirement from competitive motorsports in 2007.-VNA
