Hanoi (VNA) – The fourth graders of Doan Thi Diem Primary School in Hanoi won the three highest prizes in the primary category in the final round of the WeCode 2016 Contest held on October 29.

The contest attracted 60 students of primary and secondary schools in the capital city.

Candidates used Scratch, a programme language, to create their own games, entertainment programmes or cartoons that provide solutions to help improve the quality of public transport.

In the intermediate category, the first prize went to seventh grader Ngo The Anh of Nguyen Truong To Secondary School.

Students of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School and Vinschool won the second prize.

The third prize was presented to three students of Vinschool, FPT and Nguyen Truong To secondary schools.

The awarding ceremony will be held on National Robothon Day on November 5 in Hanoi.

The winners will also attend another international competition in Indonesia on November 19.-VNA
