A host of measures are being deployed to ensure security and order and traffic safety ahead of the second-leg semi-final match between Vietnam and Malaysia at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on the night of December 11.

The Hanoi Public Security Department has deploys 12 teams to keep security and order in the areas surrounding the stadium, preventing provocative actions as well as illegal motorbike races.

The Mobile Police Regiment also deploys all its forces to ensure the match to happen without any fuss.

The regiment has installed magnetic gates and screening devices to prevent fans from carrying banned objects into the stadium.

With the stadium expected to be filled to capacity, the traffic is also a concern and the Department’s Traffic Police Division (PC67) has sent all its staff out to coordinate with the police from South Tu Liem and North Tu Liem districts to regulate the traffic in the streets surrounding the stadium.

The traffic police also have their teams positioning and patrolling on the main roads where football fans are likely to gather after the match.
