HCM City boosts links with Lao localities
Ho Chi Minh City is promoting effective cooperation with Lao localities,
including capital Vientiane, Champassak and Savanakhet, in various
areas. Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi
Quyet Tam made the remarks while receiving Lao Defence Minister
Sengnoune Sayalath in the city on September 20.

Affirming the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, she expressed her wish that Laos will continue creating conditions for businesses of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular to invest in the country, contributing to develop the bilateral ties to a new level.
For his part, the Lao minister said he hopes that Ho
Chi Minh City enterprises will increase investment in Lao localities and
help train human resources for his country.-VNA
