While receiving President of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Phandouangchit Vongsa on May 28, Hai affirmed that the local authorities are making every effort to strengthen and consolidate cooperation with Lao localities.
He added that the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Vientiena, Champassak and some other southern Lao provinces has reaped good results.
For his part, Phandouangchit Vongsa emphasised the close relationship between Vietnam and Laos in all fields, saying that the LFNC and the Vietnam Fatherland Front have always cooperated with each other in gathering and uniting the two peoples.
He said his visit aims to learn experience from Ho Chi Minh City in front work.-VNA
