Thirty-eight young overseas Vietnamese join local volunteers at the 2011 Summer Camp hosted by Ho Chi Minh City from July 19.

During the four-day event, they will offer incense to the local Hung Kings temple and visit the Vietnam History Museum and the War Remnants Museum in HCM City.

The participants, including young people from the US, Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Thailand and Cambodia, will also visit the Peace Village – Tu Du Hospital which is caring for children victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.

They will then travel to Phan Thiet city of central Binh Thuan province to visit Duc Thanh school where President Ho Chi Minh worked as a teacher before embarking on his journey to seek ways to save the nation, under the camp’s theme of “Following President Ho’s footprints”./.
