Six people on board were killed in a civil helicopter crashed in the town of Semenyih, southeast of Kuala Lumpur.

The victims include a Malaysian former special envoy to the US Jamaluddin Jarjis,
the Prime Minister’s private secretary Azlin Alias, a businessman Robert Tan, two pilots, and a bodyguard, Minister of Home Affairs Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.

The number of people on board has yet to be ascertained, Director General of the Malaysian Civil Aviation Adbul Rahman said.

Search teams have deployed to the accident scene to recover the passengers’ bodies.-VNA
