Ho Chi Minh City to host 10th regional petroleum conference

will attend the 10th conference-cum-exhibition of the ASEAN Council
on Petroleum (ASCOPE) scheduled for November 28-30 in Ho Chi Minh
City.

Hosted by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), the event themed “Innovation and Cooperation – The way forward” will feature the most advanced equipment that serves the exploratory drilling and exploitation of gas and oil as well as energy measurement and control.
Integrated operating systems applied in petroleum factories will be introduced at the exhibition, alongside projects on oil and gas infrastructure.
The conference-exhibition, held every four years, is expected to draw the participation of 21 experienced foreign lecturers discussing the emerging opportunities, challenges and solutions of the region’s oil and gas sector.
Founded in 1975, ASCOPE groups ten petroleum companies from ASEAN countries, namely Brunei National Petroleum Company, Cambodian National Petroleum Authority, Pertamina from Indonesia, Laos State Fuel Corporation, Petronas Oil and Gas Company from Malaysia, Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise, Philippines National Oil Company, Keppel Corporation from Singapore, PTT Oil and Gas Company from Thailand and Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.-VNA
