Hanoi (VNA) - Four actors and actresses, Shiddharth Shukla, Avinask Mukherjee, Aasiya Kazi and Roop Durgapal, starring in Balika Vadhu (Child Bride), have visited Vietnam and met with fans.

In the framework of the event, they visited audiences in Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City. The trip ended on July 17 with a performance in Hanoi. They didn’t only speak with the audience but also performed Bollywood dances and songs at the Quan Ngua Stadium. An audience of three thousand was in attendance.

Balika Vadhu is an Indian soap opera that is currently aired on Today TV. The story, which is set in rural Rajasthan, traces the arduous journey of a child bride from the brink of childhood to womanhood. The first season focuses on the life of Anandi and Jagdish, who were married in childhood. The second season reflects the lives of Anandi’s daughter Nandini who was also a child bride. It has been credited as the first Indian show to surpass 2,000 episodes.
