Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesian police on May 25 said that two suspected suicide bombers in an attack on a bus terminal in Jakarta one day earlier have been identified.
The duo were on the wanted list, National Police
spokesperson told media, adding that they were linked to a West Java-based
terrorist network which claimed responsibility for an attack in Bandung in
February.
The police are searching for other members of
the network, he noted.
The twin blasts occurring at the Trans Jakarta
bus stop in Kampung Melayu region in East Jakarta killed at least five people,
including the two suspects and three policemen while injuring 10 others. -VNA
