International tourist arrivals rise sharply so far
The number of foreign tourists arriving in Vietnam in the first
nine months is estimated to have reached nearly 4.85 million, a
year-on-year increase of 13 percent, according to the General Statistics
Office.

Tourists from the Republic of Korea saw the highest increase with 38.2 percent, followed by Malaysia (25.4 percent), Japan (24.5 percent), Thailand (23.4 percent), Taiwan (19.4 percent) and France (8.1 percent).-VNA
