Int’l Techmart VN sees 1,200 contracts signed
The Vietnam Technology and Equipment Market 2012 (Techmart) closed in Hanoi on Sept. 23, seeing the signing of m ore than 1,200 contracts and thousands of transactions worth more than 1.5 trillion VND.
The Vietnam Technology and Equipment Market 2012 (Techmart) closed in Hanoi on Sept. 23, seeing the signing of m ore than 1,200 contracts and thousands of transactions worth more than 1.5 trillion VND.
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology and the People’s Committees of HCM City and Hanoi , the event is considered as an important highlight in the EU – ASEAN year of science, technology and innovation.
During the four-day event, five seminars on clean technology, food security, new energy and materials, scientific and technological achievements and industry were also held.
At the closing ceremony, the organisers presented 70 Gold Cups to honour new technologies and equipment, which can be applied widely in manufacturing activities and life.
28 partners from ASEAN+3, European Union , Russia and Israel were also awarded with commemorative cups for their important and active contributions to promoting technology application and international integration in the field.-VNA
