The professors from Boconi University and University of Rome Tor Vergata of Italy have helped Vietnamese officials gain new understanding of public procurement and public-private partnership.

At a workshop themed “Public Procurement and Public Private Partnership” in Hanoi on March 26, Professors Elio Borgonovi and Marco Meneguzzo gave presentations on public procurement in a wider sphere together with legal frameworks applied by the EU and WTO GPA in the field.

Vietnam has increasingly been interested in public procurement and public-private partnership due to their practical values. It has since 2008 launched a project to train and foster State officials abroad by the State budget, called Project 165.

The workshop was jointly held the Project 165 Steering Committee and the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission./.
