Japan will maintain its official development assistance provision to Vietnam, particularly Hanoi, in the construction of urban railway systems, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khoi has announced.

At a workshop held by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Hanoi on December 13, he said that Japan is the main investor of an ongoing project to build an urban railway system connecting Cat Linh and Ha Dong in the city.
