The awardees were Vo Hong Phuc, former Minister of Planning and Investment (MPI) and Ho Quang Minh, former Head of the Foreign Relations Economic Department under the MPI.
Vietnam has been recognised as one of the most successful countries in attracting and effectively utilising the official development assistance (ODA) resources by the donor community.
In Vietnam, the Japanese government’s ODA contributes not only to promoting economic growth but also helping environmental protection, poverty reduction and public-private linking./.
