The final span of the Cua Nhuong bridge in Ha Tinh province, the longest of its kind in the northern central region, was connected on January 25.

The 1,400m-long and 14m-wide bridge in Cam Nhuong commune, Cam Xuyen district is an important section of a 110km coastal road which links main economic zones in the region, such as the Vung Ang economic zone.

Construction of the bridge started in April 2010 and it is expected to officially open to traffic by May 19 – late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.

It is built at a capital of 450 billion VND (21.15 million USD).-VNA
