The rewards, presented by visiting Party Committee Secretary and Governor of Attapeu province Khamphan Phommathath on June 6, were in recognition of their contributions to building, consolidating and developing relations between Vietnam and Laos in general as well as between Kon Tum and Attapeu and southern Lao provinces in particular.
Accordingly, the Office of the provincial Party Committee and the Office of the provincial National Assembly Deputies and People’s Council were granted the Friendship Order the Friendship decoration, while the Office of the provincial People’s Committee received the Lao President’s Labour Order, first class.
