Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the National Border Committee Ho Xuan Son briefed the host of the outcomes of talks between the Vietnamese and Laos border committees, which took place earlier the same day.
Deputy PM and FM Thongloun Sisoulit expressed his pleasure at the sound cooperation between the two countries, especially the two foreign ministries and the committees, in border work over the past few years.
The cooperation has contributed to ensuring security and politics of the respective countries and building shared border lines of peace, friendship, cooperation and development, he added.-VNA
